The MOR/ryde RE system works with conventional leaf springs and axles, but replaces the center spring equalizer with rubber shear springs. The rubber shear springs isolate and absorb road shock as well as increase the suspension travel. So, road bumps are better absorbed as the MOR/ryde RE and leaf springs are able to handle the road shock.
